about the artist

haley brown is a multi-modal performing artist trained primarily in improvisation and clown. A Disabled artist, she performs both on wheels and on foot, and revels in the ways in which her Disability informs her movement vocabulary and physical sense of humor. haley loves thinking critically about access and representation, and gets wildly excited about combining this with fairytales, musicals, physical theatre, visual spectacle, and creating content for children and families.

haley is based in Santa Cruz, California on occupied Popeloutchom (Amah Mutsun land). She often travels for performance contracts.


Currently, haley performs as an independent children’s entertainer in Santa Cruz and surrounding areas, and she is in the early stages of development for an all-ages interactive play exploring Disability through a fairytale lens. Visit her alter-ego over at…
